Nathan Iyer
VP Engineering and Business Development
Mr. Iyer has over 15 years of experience in designing and developing RF
ICs and products. In the last few years he has consulted for companies
such as Sierra Monolithics and WJ Communications in the design and
development of cellular/WiMAX repeater ICs and a UHF RFID reader chip.
Prior to that, he was the CTO of Ivivi Technologies, a publicly-traded RF
medical device company. He has also worked for RFMD as a design engineer
where he participated in the design of WLAN and Bluetooth ICs. He has
authored several RF design tools and is the inventor or co-inventor of
three U.S. patents and holds M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Florida
Atlantic University, Boca Raton, Florida.
Daniel M. Dobkin, Ph. D.
Senior VP Marketing
Dr. Dobkin has been involved in
the development, manufacturing, and marketing of communications devices,
components, and systems for 30 years. He holds a BS from the California
Institute of Technology, and MS and PhD degrees from Stanford University,
all in Applied Physics. Dr. Dobkin has extensive experience in
semiconductor processing technology, device physics, and microwave device
characterization. He has testified as an expert witness and performed
technical due diligence for acquisitions and investments. He is the
author of three books and about 30 technical publications, and holds 7 US
patents as inventor or co-inventor. He has given numerous talks and
classes on radio-frequency identification in the US and Asia.
Steven Weigand
Advisor
Mr. Weigand has more than 10 years of experience in design, fabrication,
and characterization of communications circuits, from digital baseband to
broadband RF circuits operating at frequencies up to 40 GHz. His designs
have rapidly gone from concept to mass production. He has designed ICs,
boards and antennas used today by some of the leading manufacturers of
RFID equipment. He has published several well-received and award-winning
articles and has served as chair in the first RFID session of the IEEE A&P
conference. He holds a Dipl.Ing. (MSEE) from Technical University
Darmstadt, Germany.
